The Forester women's tennis team was defeated 9-0 by Ursinus College on Monday in the squad's first action of the spring semester.
The closest matches we at the top of the lineup, where Lake Forest sophomore Zoe Maurer and senior Leslie Walton were defeated 8-5 at #1 doubles and Maurer dropped a 6-4, 6-1 decision at #1 singles.
The Foresters are now 10-5 overall this year while Ursinus recorded its second victory in as many matches.
Lake Forest will take on Pennsylvania State University-Berks Tuesday morning at 11:30 (EST).
