Sophomore Kim Blanchard picked up both points for the Foresters on Wednesday but the women's tennis team lost a non-conference match to Robert Morris University by the score of 7-2.
Blanchard defeated Abby Tazelear 6-0, 6-0 at #6 singles and teamed with Kiersten Kolstad at #3 doubles for an 8-3 win over RMU's Nicole Mitchell and Tazelear.
Lake Forest senior Nonie Carson fell in an extremely competitive match at #3 singles to RMU's Stephanie Messina 6-3, 4-6, (10-7).
The Foresters (2-8) are back in action on Friday, Sept. 30 and Saturday, Oct. 1 at the ITA Regional Championships at Kalamazoo, Mich.
