The 2014 season is the first for Kristen Fink on the women's soccer coaching staff at her alma mater. She will assist the head coach in all aspects of the program.

Fink was also an assistant women's basketball coach at the College from 2008-12 and helped lead the Foresters to a 52-42 overall record and 42-26 mark in Midwest Conference play during that span.

From the spring of 2005 to the summer of 2009, Fink was a head or assistant basketball coach of numerous youth teams in and around the Lake Forest area. She worked with travel teams consisting of players as young as sixth graders or as old as high school juniors as a coach with Full Package Athletics. Fink also spent two seasons as an assistant at Lake Forest Academy.

Fink was a four-year letter winner in soccer and basketball while a student at Lake Forest College. She earned the Nicholas J. Wasylik Award, which is presented to the senior athlete who best emulates the positive, outgoing attitude as well as the drive and determination of the College’s former Athletic Director (1959-73). The soccer team claimed a pair of league titles during her career and she finished with 53 points on 17 goals and 19 assists.

In addition to coaching, Fink is the assistant principal at the School of St. Mary in Lake Forest.
