Chris Haught-Thompson '12

Chris Haught-Thompson is in his first year on the Forester women's coaching staff and third on the men's after a successful playing career at the College. He serves as an assistant coach and recruiting coordinator for both programs.

The Lake Forest men claimed Midwest Conference titles in both of Haught-Thompson's first two seasons as an assistant coach and the 2013 squad earned the program's first NCAA Division III Tournament berth since 1981. The team is 29-11-1 overall and 18-2-0 in league play while outscoring opponents 95-33 since he joined the staff.

Haught-Thompson has also spent time as the head coach at various levels for the Lincolnshire Lightning Soccer Club and with the girls soccer programs at Sacred Heart School.

Primarily a sweeper, Haught-Thompson finished his four years at the College with 26 career points on six goals and 10 assists. He was a two-year captain, two-time Academic All-MWC honoree, and three-time All-MWC selection. He also represented all student-athletes at the College on the MWC's Student-Athlete Advisory Committee, as a member of Athletic Council, and on the Lake Forest College Board of Trustee Athletic Committee.

Haught-Thompson graduated from Lake Forest with a degree in psychology.
