Lake Forest Falls to Concordia Wisconsin

The Lake Forest women's soccer team fell short against Concordia University Wisconsin on Saturday. The Foresters lost the match 4-0 against the Falcons. This was the first loss of the season for Lake Forest.

Concordia Wisconsin was able to put three shots passed Lake Forest's senior goalkeeper Maggie Kersting in the first 22 minutes of play and capped off their victory with a final goal in the 70th minute.

The Foresters attacked in the second half and had two shots on goal, one by freshman Caitlin Mulcahy and another by junior Alessandra Nepa; both were unable to connect with the back of the net.

Lake Forest will host Concordia University Chicago in their home opener on Monday, September 5 at 4:30 p.m.
