With two goals in the first half, the Lake Forest women's soccer team was able to defeat Grinnell College in its last home game of the regular season.

The first goal came at the 28:58 mark when, after the Foresters regained possession, junior Raven Dziedzinski passed the ball to senior Julia Larson in the middle of the field. Larson, guarded closely by a Grinnell defender, made a quick spin move and nailed the ball into the back of the net while still a fair distance from the goal.

Less than 10 minutes later at the 38:11 mark, the Foresters scored again. This time sophomore Madeline Moser was able to drive the ball into the net off a corner kick.

Goalkeepers senior Sandra Greco and sophomore Aarti Singh combined for the shut out and made two and eight saves, respectively. Grinnell was held scoreless despite out-shooting Lake Forest 18-7.

This marked the final home game for the class of 2022. The seniors were recognized at the beginning of the game.

The Foresters head to the Midwest Conference Tournament next weekend.
