Lake Forest College women's soccer player Julia Larson was voted Midwest Conference Offensive Performer of the Week on Monday for her performance in the team's 3-0 triumph over Lawrence University on Saturday.
After a scoreless opening half in the Foresters' first league game of the season, Larson put the home team on top in the 54th minute of the contest. The senior forward added the first of Lake Forest's two insurance goals less than eight minutes later and now leads the squad in points with 10 on the season.
Larson now has 20 goals and 46 points in her career, the most for any current player on the team. Saturday's game-winning goal was her second of the season and fourth as a Forester.
