Lake Forest College women's soccer blanked visiting Illinois College 8-0 on Wednesday in the team's first game on the newly-renovated Mohr Field.

The Foresters scored five times in less than eight minutes early in the contest and then added three more goals in the first eight minutes of the second half.

Sophomore forward Raven Dziedzinski contributed to all but two of the scores. After assisting on the game's opening goal, she scored her first of the season to make the score 2-0. She set up the Foresters' fifth and final goal of the first half and all three scores in the second to become the first player in program history with five assists in a game.

Sophomore midfielder Alyssa Xanos and junior midfielder Julia Larson accounted for the other seven goals. Xanos became the first Forester since November of 2015 to score for times in a game and she has now scored seven goals in three career games against Illinois College. Larson's hat trick was the second of her career and it was the first time in at least 20 years—if ever—that two Foresters scored at least three times in the same game.

Four goalkeepers combined for the shutout with junior Maggie Kersting getting the start and playing the first 25 minutes. She was followed by freshman Aarti Singh, who was replaced by junior Sandra Greco in the 54th minute. Greco made the team's only save of the contest before giving way to sophomore Aimee Vollmann for the final 15 minutes.

Lake Forest is now 2-0-0 on the season while the Lady Blues fell to 1-3-0.

The Foresters will host Ripon College on Farwell Field Saturday morning at 11:00.
