A day after tying visiting Grinnell College 0-0, the Foresters played to another scoreless tie with Cornell College at home on Sunday.

It was the fourth consecutive shutout and the fifth this season for the Lake Forest defense, which limited the Rams to just eight shots in the contest.

Forester sophomore goalkeeper Sandra Greco made four saves while the Cornell keeper needed five to keep the home team off the scoreboard. Lake Forest had 16 shot attempts overall and also had a 5-2 advantage in corner kick opportunities on the day.

Prior to this weekend the Foresters had never even played multiple scoreless games in the same season, much less on back-to-back days.

The Foresters are now 5-3-3 overall with ties in both of their first two Midwest Conference games. Cornell is 4-4-1 overall and 1-0-1 in the league.

Lake Forest will travel to Ripon College next Saturday for a 1:00 p.m. kickoff.
