Junior Riley Medley earned her first career point but Lake Forest was defeated 3-1 at Illinois Institute of Technology on Saturday.
Medley's free kick was headed into the goal by freshman Raven Dziedzinski to tie the game three minutes into the second half.
The Scarlet Hawks, who scored the only goal of the opening period at the 9:15 mark, regained the lead with 16 minutes remaining in the contest and sealed the victory with an insurance score with 65 seconds to play.
The home team had a 17-9 advantage in shots on the afternoon.
Both squads are now 3-1 on the year.
The Foresters will be in action again Sunday at Illinois College. The game will begin at 1:00 p.m.
