Freshman Raven Dziedzinski scored her second game-winning goal of the season Wednesday in the Foresters' 3-1 victory over visiting Wisconsin Lutheran College.

Dziedzinski broke a 1-1 tie 10 minutes into the second half. Sophomore Julia Larson took the ball toward the middle of the field from the right and passed it forward to senior Sangjun Hornewer, who redirected it past the last Warrior defender. Dziedzinski finished off her diagonal run from the left by taking the pass and beating the goalie for her second score of the year.

Lake Forest had taken the lead at 32:58 on Hornewer's team-high third goal of the season. Freshman Paityn Tabor took the ball away from a Wisconsin Lutheran defender and passed it out to Hornewer, who blasted a shot over the goalie's head and just below the crossbar from 30 yards out.

Larson, who had a hat trick against Wisconsin Lutheran last season, tacked on an insurance goal with 13:24 remaining in the contest. Freshman Iman Shepard got in the way of a pass from the Warrior goalkeeper and battled a defender for the ball. She was able to send it forward to Larson, who hit the left side of the net from the top of the box for her first score of the year.

Lake Forest outshot the visitors 25-7 in the contest.

Forester sophomore goalkeeper Sandra Greco earned the victory and improved to 2-0-0 on the season.

After a couple of says off, Lake Forest will take to the road this weekend, playing at Illinois Institute of Technology at 1:00 Saturday afternoon and Edgewood College at the same time on Sunday.
