Lake Forest College women's soccer player Raven Dziedzinski was named Midwest Conference Offensive Performer of the Week on Tuesday after scoring the only goal of the Foresters' 1-0 triumph over Carroll University on Saturday.
Dziedzinski broke the scoreless tie with just 11:49 to play in the contest. She took a pass from senior Sangjun Hornewer up the left side of the field in stride, dribbled the ball into the box and blasted it past the Pioneer goalkeeper for the score.
MWC Performers of the Week are selected by the league office. Dziedzinski is the first Forester to earn the conference's weekly award on offensive since the final week of the 2016 season.
