Each of sophomore Sandra Greco's career-high seven saves were crucial as Lake Forest hosted and defeated Carroll University 1-0 on Saturday.

Greco made three saves in the first half and four in the second to earn her second career shutout.

Carroll outshot the home team 6-2 in the first half and doubled up the Foresters in that category 14-7 in the final 45 minutes.

Lake Forest freshman Raven Dziedzinski broke the scoreless tie with just 11:49 to play in the contest. She was led up the left side of the field by senior Sangjun Hornewer and blasted a shot from the left side of the box. The diving Pioneer goalkeeper got her hands on the ball but was unable to prevent it from reaching the back of the net.

The game was the first of eight in a 16-day span for the Foresters, who will travel to Concordia University Chicago on Monday for a 4:30 p.m. kickoff.
