Junior Natalie Dixon scored in the 87th minute and the Forester women's soccer team's season finale at St. Norbert College on Sunday ended in a 1-1 tie.
Dixon's only goal of the year was assisted by senior Charlotte Jackson and knotted the score at one with 3:24 remaining in regulation.
The game had been scoreless until the Green Knights broke through at the 75:57 mark.
The visitors had a 5-4 advantage in shots in the opening period and an 8-4 edge in the next 45 minutes. The Foresters also had four attempts to St. Norbert's two in the two 10-minute overtime periods combined.
Forester freshman goalkeeper Maggie Kersting made a pair of saves and finished the year 3-1-1 with a 0.48 goals against average in seven appearances.
After finishing the year with a five-game unbeaten streak, Lake Forest posted an 8-9-1 overall record and a 4-4-1 mark in Midwest Conference play. St. Norbert is now 7-10-1 overall and 6-2-1 in the league.
