Junior midfielder Sangjun Hornewer scored for the first time this season but the Lake Forest College women's soccer team was defeated 4-1 at Concordia University Wisconsin on Monday.
Hornewer's free kick from just outside the box slipped under the crossbar and into the goal at the 65:55 mark to close out the scoring.
Concordia Wisconsin netted a pair of goals in the first half, the first at 17:36 and the second exactly 20 minutes later. The Falcons then put the game out of reach with scores at 47:09 and 51:47.
The Foresters were outshot 8-2 before halftime and 5-4 in the final 45 minutes.
It was the third game in four days for Lake Forest, which fell to 3-3-0 on the year. Concordia Wisconsin improved to 1-3-0.
The Foresters's next game will be Friday night at 7:00 at Milwaukee School of Engineering.
