Sophomore defender Morgan Henrichs headed in a goal with 7:09 remaining and the Lake Forest College women's soccer team held on to defeat Concordia University Chicago 1-0 at home on Friday.

Freshman midfielder Hiwa Brown set up the score with the Foresters' sixth corner kick of the second half and seventh of the contest. Henrichs out-jumped the Cougar defenders and headed the ball over the keeper and into the goal for her second score of the season. Both of her goals have been game-winners.

Lake Forest had a 4-1 advantage in shots in the first half and a 10-4 edge in the second.

Forester freshman goalkeeper Sandra Greco made three saves in the contest for her first career shutout and second victory in as many appearances.

The win was the third in a row for Lake Forest after a season-opening defeat. Concordia Chicago fell to 0-3-0.

The Foresters will be back in action Saturday evening against visiting Illinois Institute of Technology. Kickoff is scheduled for 5:00 p.m.
