The Unites Soccer Coaches (formerly the National Soccer Coaches Assocation of America) recently released its 2016-17 Team Academic Award recipients and Lake Forest College made the list for the seventh time in the last eight years.
College Team Academic Award recipients are active members of the United Soccer Coaches College Services Program with a composite grade point of average of 3.0 or better on a 4.0 scale for all players on the roster.
A total of 550 collegiate women's teams earned the award.
The Foresters did not make the list for 2015-16 but qualified each of the previous six seasons.
