Lake Forest Unable to Generate Offense at Knox

The Forester women's soccer team was defeated 3-0 at Knox College on Saturday.

Knox took the lead in the 35th minute and led 1-0 at halftime. The home team added an insurance goal at 55:01 and all but clinched the victory on a third score with 9:21 to play.

Lake Forest senior goalkeeper Rachel Tenuta made four saves in the game and is now just four shy of 200 for her career.

The Foresters are now 7-6-1 overall this season and 3-2-1 in Midwest Conference play. Knox improved to 14-0-1 overall and 6-0-0 in the league.

Lake Forest will continue the team's trip to the southern part of the conference with a game at Monmouth College Sunday afternoon at 3:30.
