Lesperance, Rogers, and Greeneway Earn All-Region Honors

The National Soccer Coaches Association of America released the 2015 NCAA Division III All-Region Teams on Wednesday Lake Forest College seniors Holly Lesperance, Ellen Rogers, and Michelle Greeneway were First Team All-North Region selections.

Lesperance, a forward, has now earned all-region honors in each of her four years and first team accolades three times. She finished the 2015 season with 34 points on 14 goals and six assists and completed her career ranked fourth in team history with 136 points, third with 53 goals, and sixth with 30 assists. Lesperance in aslo a four-time All-Midwest Conference honoree.

Rogers, a midfielder, is now a two-time First Team All-North Region selection. She scored once and recorded four assists this fall and helped the team's defense shut out seven opponents and allow just 3.5 shots on goal per contest. Rogers was also named First Team All-MWC for the second year in a row and finished her career with 21 points on five goals and 11 assists.

Greeneway, a forward, was named to the North Region's First Team for the third consecutive year. She ranked among the top five in the nation this season with 30 goals and 66 points, which earned her MWC Offensive Player of the Year honors for the second straight season and First Team All-MWC accolades for the fourth year in a row. The program's all-time leading scorer finished her career ranked tied-for-13th in NCAA Division III women's soccer history with 104 career goals and 19th with 240 points.

Lake Forest finished the 2015 season with an overall record of 14-3-2 and captured its second straight conference championship with mark of 9-0-1 in MWC play. The Foresters were 62-15-4 overall and 34-3-3 in the league with three MWC titles and a pair of NCAA Tournament appearances during the last four years.
