The bracket for the 2023 NCAA Division III Women's Lacrosse Championship Tournament was released Monday morning and the Foresters will take on DePauw University at Kenyon College in Gambier, Ohio, for their first round game on Saturday.
Lake Forest earned a spot in the field by posting a 16-6 victory at the College of Saint Benedict in Saturday's Midwest Women's Lacrosse Tournament Final. The Foresters finished the regular season with a 6-1 record in league play and Saturday's triumph evened their overall mark at 9-9. DePauw is 11-5 and were the runner-up to Kenyon in the North Coast Athletic Conference regular season and tournament.
Saturday's winner will take on Kenyon (17-1) in the second round on Sunday. The third and fourth rounds will occur the following weekend and the NCAA Division III National Championship Game will be played May 26 and 28 at Roanoke College's Kerr Stadium in Salem, Virginia.
