The Lake Forest College women's lacrosse team was defeated 15-8 at Aurora University on Tuesday.

Half of the Foresters' goals came from junior Ali Graham, who leads the team with a program record 37 on the season, including 14 in the last three games combined. Her first of the day closed out the first period scoring and stopped a 7-0 Spartan run to start the game.

Graham and sophomore Abby Meyer scored in the second but three Aurora tallies in the period made it a 10-3 game at halftime. It was the 11th goal of the spring for Meyer.

Graham's second free position goal of the game made the score 13-4 going into the fourth quarter.

Lake Forest outscored the home team 4-2 over the final 15 minutes. Junior Ryleigh Nelson netted her 14th of the year, sophomore Savannah Frauhiger her 11th, and sophomore Krissy Kuwahara her 13th. Graham, who has now scored in seven consecutive quarters, accounted for the visitors' other score in the fourth and that broke a brief tie she had with current sophomore Jenna Doctor for the team's single-season goals record. It also made Graham the first Forester with a 50-point campaign.

Junior defender Cailtyn Dahut and sophomore goalie Calliope Saban led Lake Forest with four ground balls apiece and Dahut added a team-high three caused turnovers. Graham led the squad in draw controls with five.

The Foresters will resume Midwest Women's Lacrosse Conference action at Augsburg College on Saturday. Game time is 9:30 a.m. and they will also play at the University of Wisconsin-River Falls Sunday afternoon at 12:30.
