On Tuesday, Lake Forest women's lacrosse freshman was named the women's Forester Athlete of the Week for her performance in the MWLC Championship Tournament last week.
Meyer scored five times in Lake Forest's 13-12 overtime loss to Hamline in Saturday's MWLC final. It matched the highest single-game scoring output by a Forester this season and came from a player who entered the game with just seven goals on the year.
Meyer also picked up five ground balls and had a team-high eight draw controls in the Foresters' two playoff games combined.
Forester Athletes of the Week are voted for by the athletic department on Tuesdays.
