For her game-winning goal against Trine University on Friday and performance in the Foresters' game on Saturday, women's hockey senior Olyvia Opsahl was named Women's Forester Athlete of the Week on Tuesday.
Opsahl scored in overtime to put the team up 3-2 and win the game against Trine on Friday. She also scored a 5-on-3 power play goal early in the second period in the team's 5-1 win on Saturday.
She is currently 3rd in points on the team as a defensive player and 6th overall in the Conference for defense.
Forester Athletes of the Week are voted for by the athletic department on Tuesdays.
