The Forester women's hockey team dropped a 2-0 decision at Adrian College on Tuesday.
The Bulldogs started the scoring with a power play goal at 13:23 in the opening period.
The score remained 1-0 until the home team netted an insurance goal at the 6:08 mark of the third period.
Lake Forest junior goaltender Hannah Turnage stopped 33 of 35 shots on goal on the afternoon. She was on the bench in favor of an extra attacker for more than three minutes late in the game but the visitors were unable to get on the scoreboard.
The Foresters fell to 9-9-0 overall and this season and 9-3-0 in Northern Collegiate Hockey Association play. The series sweep raised Adrian's overall record to 14-6-1 and NCHA mark to a league-best 11-1-0.
Lake Forest will travel back into the Eastern time zone this weekend for a series at Trine University. The teams will face off Friday at 7:00 p.m. and Saturday afternoon at 2:00.
