The Lake Forest College women's hockey team was defeated 3-0 by visiting Gustavus Adolphus College on Saturday.
After a scoreless opening period, the Gusties broke through just 15 seconds into the second. The goal was scored just six seconds following the completion of a Forester penalty and the visitors other two tallies came on the power play later in the period.
Gustavus Adolphus, the sixth-ranked team in the nation, had a 30-21 advantage in shots on the afternoon.
The non-conference loss was the Foresters' fourth in as many contests this season while the Gusties improved to 2-0-0.
After a weekend off, Lake Forest will begin Northern Collegiate Hockey Association play at Aurora University November 20-21.
