The 2021-22 schedule for the Lake Forest College women's hockey team was released on Friday.

The Foresters will begin their season by hosting a pair of teams that qualified for the last NCAA Division III Championship Tournament. The University of Wisconsin-River Falls will visit Alumni Memorial Fieldhouse October 30-31 and Gustavus Adolphus College will follow November 5-6.

Additional non-conference series will be played against visiting University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire the two days after Thanksgiving and against Bethel University and host Hamline University January 7-8.

Lake Forest will play a weekend series against each of the other eight teams in the Northern Collegiate Hockey Association, beginning with contests at Aurora University November 19-20. The team will also take on Finlandia University at home the first weekend of December in the only other league match-up of 2021.

The Foresters' annual Border Battle with Concordia University Wisconsin will be January 14-15 with Friday night's game being played in Mequon, Wisconsin, and Saturday's in Lake Forest. After a weekend at home against St. Norbert College and on the road at Adrian College, the team will play another home-and-home series with Lawrence University that includes the program's Ry McCarthy Award ceremony on February 4. Another trip to the Eastern time zone to face off at Trine University follows and the final weekend of the regular season features another home-and-home series, this time against Marian University with Senior Day slated for Friday, February 18.

The top six teams in the conference advance to the NCHA Slaats Cup Playoffs and the top three will host two-game quarterfinal series the final weekend of February. The top remaining team will host the following weekend's semifinal and final with the champion earning the league's automatic bid to the NCAA Division III Tournament.

The 2021-22 season will be the fourth for the Foresters with Jennifer Wilson as head coach and they are 33-24-6 overall and 24-13-5 in NCHA play during that span.
