Forward Maddie Davis was one of seven seniors honored before their final regular season home game and she celebrated with a goal and assist during a 4-1 victory over Concordia University Wisconsin on Saturday.

Davis and sophomore forward Abigail Tucci assisted junior forward Megan Lyke on the game's first goal at the 4:38 mark of the second period. The power play score was Lyke's fourth of the season.

Davis scored her third of the year just four-and-a-half minutes later with Tucci and freshman forward Marissa Gebauer assisting. It turned out to be the first game-winner of the season for Davis.

The Foresters took a 2-0 lead into the third period and Gebauer added to it with her third goal of the weekend and eighth this season at the 6:41 mark. She was assisted by freshman defenseman Iman Shepard.

Lake Forest's advantage grew to four at the 13:56 mark on junior forward Makenzie Kamm's fourth goal of the year. Sophomore defenseman Olyvia Opsahl picked up an assist on the play.

The only shot to get past Forester senior goaltender Jacque Rogers happened with 3:54 remaining in the contest. Rogers, who was presented with the program's Ry McCarthy Award for the third year in a row during the first intermission, finished the afternoon with 25 saves and improved to 12-6-0 with a .937 save percentage and 1.84 goals against average this year.

Lake Forest improved to 15-9-1 overall this season and completed the Northern Collegiate Hockey Association scheduled with a league mark of 12-3-1. Concordia Wisconsin fell to 8-14-2 overall and 7-8-1 in the league.

The Foresters and Falcons will face off against in Lake Forest in next weekend's NCHA Slaats Cup quarterfinal series. Game times on Friday and Saturday have yet to be announced.
