Junior Julieana Tarantino stopped all 28 shots on goal she faced Friday night but the Foresters were also unable to score in 0-0 tie at Trine University.

Thirteen of Tarantino's saves came during a third period that included a pair of Lake Forest penalties. It was her first shutout of the season and second of her career. Tarantino also blanked Trine a year ago.

The Foresters put 14 shots on goal in the opening period, 22 in the second, 16 in the third, and six more in overtime.

Both teams were 0-for-2 on the power play.

Lake Forest is now 3-5-1 overall this season and 2-2-1 in Northern Collegiate Hockey Association play. The Thunder are now 3-3-1 overall and 1-3-1 in the league. The teams will face off again Saturday afternoon at 2:00 (ET).
