The American Hockey Coaches Association announced the CCM Hockey/ACHA Division III All-Americans Thursday night and Lake Forest College's Amy Buddy was a Second Team West selection.
Budde led the Northern Collegiate Hockey Association and is tied-for-eighth in the nation with 21 goals this season. She is also tied-for-20th in the country with 33 points and only six players in NCAA Division III women's hockey scored more than her five game-winning goals. The senior forward had at least one goal or assist in 17 of 28 games with nine multi-point performances.
Having never missed a game, Budde finished her career having played in a program record 112 contests, including 77 Lake Forest victories, the most of any four-year span in school history. Budde's 70 career assists are the second-highest total in team annals and she ranks third with 61 goals and 131 points. Among her tallies are 11 power play goals, four short-handed scores, and 10 game-winners, placing her among the top 10 Foresters in all three categories.
Lake Forest finished the 2018-19 season with an overall record of 16-7-5 and a league mark of 11-3-4. The team swept Trine University in the quarterfinals of the NCHA Slaats Cup Playoffs before falling to the College of St. Scholastica in the semifinal round.
