Junior goaltender Jacque Rogers turned away 24 of 25 shots on goal but Lake Forest was unable to score and dropped a 1-0 decision Friday night at the College of St. Scholastica.

Rogers has now allowed no more than one goal in seven of her last eight starts and has a .982 save percentage during that span. She stopped the first 20 shots she saw on Friday before the Saints finally netted the only goal of the contest at 13:12 in the third period.

After both teams put six shots on goal in the opening period, the Foresters outshot the Saints 20-8 in the second. Shots were even again at 11-11 in the third.

The loss dropped Lake Forest's overall record to 14-5-5 and Northern Collegiate Hockey Association mark to 11-2-4. St. Scholastica improved to 17-6-1 overall and the Saints' 14-3-0 record in the league clinched at least the #2 seed in the NCHA Slaats Cup Playoffs. The same two teams will close out the regular season Saturday afternoon at 4:00.
