Junior goaltender Jacque Rogers finished off her perfect weekend with 28 saves in the Foresters' 1-0 triumph at Northland College on Saturday.

Rogers, who also blanked the LumberJills on Friday, is now tied-for-sixth in the nation with five shutouts this season. It was her 17th career shutout, the most in program history by nine, and her 35 career victories are just one shy of Alyssa Wintermute's team record. Rogers climbed to fifth in the country with a .950 save percentage and 10th with a goals against average of 1.25.

Saturday's only goal was a power play score from Lake Forest sophomore forward Megan Lyke at the 9:43 mark of the second period. Lyke's fourth goal of the season was assisted by freshman defenseman Megan Truman and senior forward Amy Budde. Budde scored or assisted on all four of the Foresters' goals on the weekend and now has 120 points in her career.

Lake Forest outshot Northland 32-28 in the contest and is now 12-4-5 overall this season and still tied for second place in the Northern Collegiate Hockey Association standings at 9-1-4 in league play. Northland fell to 6-14-1 overall and 5-8-1 in the conference.

The Foresters will travel to Marian University next weekend with game times scheduled for Friday afternoon at 4:00 and Saturday night at 8:00.
