Junior Jacque Rogers made 20 saves and earned her 13th career shutout but the Lake Forest College women's hockey team was also unable to score in Saturday's 0-0 tie with visiting Aurora University.

The Foresters out-shot the Spartans 17-4 in the opening period and 16-2 in the second. Both teams had several scoring opportunities in the third with Lake Forest responsible for 15 of the 28 shots on goal in the period. The home team also had a 4-1 advantage in shots in the five-minute overtime.

Rogers raised her save percentage on the season to .926. Her 13 career shutouts are five more than the next-highest total by a Forester.

After skating to a second tie in as many days, Lake Forest and Aurora are each 2-2-2 on the year. The Foresters' Northern Collegiate Hockey Association record now stands at 2-0-2 while the Spartans are 1-1-2.

Lake Forest will continue conference play at Finlandia University next weekend. Friday night's game will begin at 7:00 (ET) and the teams will face off again Saturday afternoon at 2:00 (ET).
