Lake Forest College women's hockey player Jordan Trapp was named Forester Athlete of the Week on Thursday after scoring half of her team's goals in a sweep of host St. Norbert College last weekend.
Trapp, a freshman defenseman, helped secure Friday night's 4-1 triumph with a pair of third period scores. Both goals came on the power play as the visitors converted on three of five such opportunities in the contest. Five of Trapp's seven scores this season have been power play goals.
Lake Forest prevailed 2-1 on Saturday with Trapp scoring the game-winner in the second period. She broke a 1-1 tie at the 4:52 mark and the Foresters held on for the victory.
Trapp now has six points in the last six games and 14 on the season.
Forester Athletes of the Week are selected by the Athletic Department on Thursdays.
