Junior goaltender Jacqueline Audet made a career-high 49 saves but the Lake Forest College women's hockey team was defeated 3-0 at Adrian College on Sunday.

Adrian entered the week ranked fourth in the nation and Lake Forest eighth.

The Bulldogs out-shot the Foresters 19-6 in the opening period, 23-5 in the second, and 10-6 during the game's final 20 minutes. The home team got on the scoreboard with 2:19 on the clock in the first period, converted a power play opportunity with 1:14 remaining in the second, and tacked on another insurance goal with 6:03 left in the contest.

Audet entered the game with a total of just 60 saves in three games this season. Her 49 on Sunday matched the fourth-highest total in program history.

The Foresters will play three times at home this weekend. After hosting St. Norbert College Friday afternoon at 4:00, the team will take on visiting Northland College Saturday and Sunday at 2:00 p.m.
