Lake Forest College senior Alex Stensland was one of two defensemen named to the D3hockey.com Team of the Week on Tuesday.
Stensland was on the ice for all eight of the goals scored by the Foresters in two games against visiting St. Norbert College over the weekend. She had a goal and an assist in Friday night's 6-3 victory and the teams skated to a 2-2 tie on Saturday.
Stensland has nine goals this season and ranks fifth in program history with 47 career assists.
The D3hockey.com Team of the Week includes three forwards, two defensemen, and a goaltender. It was Stensland's second such honor this season.
