Lake Forest Takes Runner-Up Honors at Judson Invite

The Forester women's golf team had three of the top 11 players and finished second at Tuesday's Judson Invite, the squad's third tournament in four days.

Lake Forest senior Amanda Lee tied for fourth place out of 44 players at the event with a score of 83. She carded birdies on the par-4 fourth and 12th holes and added five pars.

Freshmen Chloe Morrissey and Makayla Sanchez were next on the team and tied-for-10th in the field at 87. Rounding out the Foresters' scorers was junior Grace Black with a 107.

Aurora University won the event with an 18-hole score of 350, 14 shots better than the Foresters who finished just a single stroke ahead of St. Xavier University.

Lake Forest will host the Forester Spring Invitational on Saturday at White Deer Run Golf Course in nearby Vernon Hills, Illinois.
