Lake Forest Ties for Second Place at Judson Invitational

Sophomore Faith Jung led her team with an 88 on Monday as the Foresters tied for second place at the seven-team Judson University Invitational.

Jung posted pars on half of the holes on the 5,805-yard, par-71 course at Randall Oaks Country Club in Oakbrook, Illinois. She finished in sixth place overall in the 39-player field.

Fellow sophomore Amanda Lee was next on the team and tied-for-seventh overall with an 89 and she was one of just three players at the event with two birdies in her round.

Senior Anhayte Guajardo and junior Cece Cruz also finished in the top half, Guajardo tied-for-15th with a 93 and Cruz 18th with a 95.

The Foresters' team score of 365 was tied with Aurora University for second place, 21 shots behind first-place University of Dubuque.

Lake Forest's next event is the two-day UW-Whitewater Spring, which begins on Friday, April 19.
