Senior Allie Girard won by 10 strokes and the Lake Forest College women's golf team prevailed by 126 in a dual match against Wisconsin Lutheran College at Southern Pines Golf Club in North Carolina on Tuesday.

Girard started her round with the field's only birdie of the contest, using just three strokes on the 340-yard opening hole. She finished her round of 81 with six pars and was no worse than bogey on any hole.

After the Warriors' top player, who carded a 91, the Foresters had the next three lowest scores, beginning with sophomore Anhayte Guajardo's 93. She started her day with three consecutive pars and finished three strokes better than classmate Kalay Kotasek. Freshman Cece Croz rounded out the team's top four with a round of 100.

The Foresters are now 2-for-2 in dual matches this year and have won each of their 10 such events since becoming a varsity sport in 2014.

The next event on Lake Forest's 2016-17 schedule is the Elmhurst Bluejay Spring Invitational on Wednesday, April 19.
