D3hoops.com announced its 2022-23 All-Region selections on Tuesday and Lake Forest College's Katie Neher earned First Team accolades in Region 9.
Neher ranked 18th in the nation in scoring this season with 20.9 points per game. The senior guard shot 43.9 percent from the field, 35.5 percent from three-point range, and 82.1 percent from the free throw line. She scored at least 20 points in half of the Foresters' 24 games with three 30-point performances.
Neher's 501 points this season are the third-highest scoring total in program history. She also became just the ninth Forester to surpass 1,000 points for her career.
In addition to her scoring prowess, Neher was the team's leading rebounder with 8.0 per contest and added 3.5 assists and 2.0 steals per game.
Neher was named Midwest Conference Performer of the Week four times during the season and was voted MWC Player of the Year by league coaches.
