Lake Forest College women's basketball player Annie Lally was named Midwest Conference Performer of the Week on Monday for her performance in Saturday's 77-76 overtime triumph at Grinnell College.
Lally shot 9-for-15 from the field and 6-for-7 from the foul line in the contest. The junior forward finished with 24 points, including six during an 8-0 run that helped the Foresters erase an 11-point fourth quarter deficit.
After missing her entire freshman and sophomore years due to injury, Lally is averaging 13.8 points and 6.3 rebounds while shooting 55.3 percent from the field in four games this season.
