Junior Katie Neher was named the women's Forester Athlete of the Week on Tuesday for her performance with the Lake Forest women's basketball team in Webster University Tournament.
Neher led the Foresters with 14 points and four assists in Friday's victory over Fontbonne University. She shot 6-13 from the floor and 2-5 from beyond the 3-point line. She also added seven rebounds to her stat line.
In Saturday's game versus Webster University, Neher netted 22 points shooting 6-12 from the floor and 10-12 from the free throw line.
She was named to the All-Tournament Team at the conclusion of the tournament.
Forester Athletes of the Week are voted for by the athletic department on Tuesdays.
