The 2021-22 schedule for the Lake Forest College women's basketball team was released on Wednesday.

As they have each of the last two years, the Foresters will begin the season against Milwaukee School of Engineering. The 2021-22 opener will be played in Milwaukee on Tuesday, November 9.

The first of the team's three two-day events will be the Webster Tip-Off Classic November 12-13. Lake Forest will take on Fontbonne University in the first game and the hosts in the second.

Three of the Foresters' next four games will be Midwest Conference contests. The team's league opener will be at Grinnell College on Saturday, November 20 and, after a non-conference game at Carthage College three days later, Lake Forest will play its home opener against Monmouth College on November 30 and return to Iowa to face Cornell College on December 4.

The Foresters will close out the 2021 portion of their schedule with a pair of events over the holidays. They will travel to Florida for a pair of games in St. Pete Beach December 19-20 before visiting the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater to take on Whitewater and the University of Wisconsin-Platteville on the 29th and 30th.

Lake Forest will play just its second home game of the year on January 4 when Knox College comes to town. January's schedule includes MWC home games against Cornell (Parents Day) on the 8th, Illinois College a week later, and Ripon College three days after that. The Foresters will travel to Beloit College, Knox, Monmouth, and Lawrence University in the first month of the calendar year.

The final non-conference contest of 2021-22 for Lake Forest will be a home game agaist Mount Mary University on the first day of February. The Foresters will then complete their season series with Beloit, Lawrence, Illinois College, and Ripon before hosting Grinnell College for Senior Day on Saturday, February 19.

The top team in the standings will host the next three for the MWC Tournament February 25-26 and the winner of the event will earn the league's automatic bid to the NCAA Division III Tournament.

Lake Forest qualified for two of the last three MWC Tournaments and head coach Tamlyn Tills enters her 14th year at the helm of the program with a career record of 115-95 in league play.
