The Lake Forest College women's basketball team was defeated 91-53 by Ripon College at home on Saturday.
Sophomore guard Katie Neher led the Foresters with 11 points while freshman center Abigail Pribble grabbed a team-high six rebounds.
Ripon shot 51.4 percent from the field on the afternoon while Lake Forest was at 34.0 percent. The Red Hawks also out-rebounded the home team 43-29 and forced 29 Forester turnovers while committing 15.
It was the season-opener for Ripon while Lake Forest fell to 1-3.
The same two teams will face off again next Saturday at Ripon. Tip-off is scheduled for 1:00 p.m.
