Senior forward Hannah Hiland filled up the stat sheet with a dozen points, six rebounds, three assists, and four steals but the Forester women's basketball team fell 91-78 at Loras College on Saturday.

Hiland was one of four Foresters to score in doubles figures in the contest. The team was led by sophomore guard Kelsey Burton with 21 while sophomore guard Jaianna Brooks and senior forward Hannah O'Day added 13 and 12, respectively. Burton and O'Day matched Hiland's six boards and O'Day led the visitors with four assists.

Lake Forest had a fairly efficient shooting performance, connecting on 41.5 percent of field goal attempts, including 10 of 22 from three-point range, and on 14 of 17 free throws. Loras shot 49.3 percent from the field and 10-for-13 from the line but just 7-for-28 from beyond the arc. The home team had a 44-36 edge in rebounds and committed 19 turnovers, three fewer than the Foresters.

The Duhawks led 25-21 after a high-scoring first quarter and nearly kept up that pace in the second, finishing the half ahead 48-32. The teams combined for 47 points in the third with the Foresters accounting for 24 and Loras 23 and a late run by Lake Forest gave the visitors 22 points to the Duhawks' 19 in the fourth.

After finishing the weekend with 36 points, 17 rebounds, and nine assists, Burton was named to the Loras Tip-Off Classic All-Tournament Team.

The Foresters are now 0-3 and Loras 3-1 this season.

Lake Forest will travel to Illinois Institute of Technology on Monday for a 7:00 p.m. tip-off.
