Non-Conference Loss at M.S.O.E. Drops Foresters Back to .500

The Lake Forest College women's basketball team was defeated 58-39 at Milwaukee School of Engineering Thursday night and is now 10-10 on the season. Junior Liz Radtke led the Foresters with 11 points in the contest.

Radtke was 5-for-9 from the field and made the visitors' only three-pointer of the night. Lake Forest shot just 25 percent overall and attempted 23 shots from beyond the arc.

Forester freshman guard Danielle Canulli finished the game with 10 points and a team-high seven rebounds.

Milwaukee School of Engineering shot 45.7 percent from the field and 4-for-11 from three-point range. The Raiders also out-rebounded the Foresters 43-35.

Lake Forest led 15-11 before being outscored 18-4 over the final seven minutes of the first half.

The Foresters trimmed the deficit to seven points on a basket by Radtke with 12:46 to play in the contest. The Raiders, however, used a 17-6 run over the next seven minutes to put the game out of reach.

Lake Forest will resume Midwest Conference play Saturday at Monmouth College. The contest will begin at 3:00 p.m.
