Four More School Records Fall at Don Church Twilight Meet

The Forester track team traveled to Wheaton College on Saturday for the annual Don Church Twilight Meet.

Four program records were set at the meet, including marks in the women's and men's 200m by sophomore Mary Radziewicz and freshman Mason Wright. Radziewicz was seventh out of 31 competitors with a time of 26.71 seconds while Wright took the same place in the men's 30-runner field with a clocking of 23.42 seconds.

Radziewicz had set the team's 100m record (13.15) in the last meet but that mark only lasted a week. Freshman AJ Jones finished third in a 20-runner field at Wheaton in 13.05 seconds while Radziewicz was fifth at 13.17. Wright's 11.63 in the men's race was good for 11th place in the meet and second in team annals.

A fourth record fell in the men's 400m, where freshman Matthew Lungu completed his lap around the track in 53.42 seconds and finished ninth.

Additional points were scored by Forester junior Annie Pulaski in the women's 100m (8th), freshman Jacquelyn Han in the women's 400m hurdles (7th), and senior Owen Bodine in the men's triple jump (6th).

The team will return to Wheaton next Friday for the Elmhurst Invitational.
