The Lake Forest College track teams closed out 2021 at the Midwest Conference North Division Championship Meet at Ripon College on Saturday.

The first running event on the second day of the two-day event was the women's 3000m steeplechase, which included a four-place finish by Forester senior Molly Gniady. She completed the race in 13:04.73.

The 800m run was the most productive event of the weekend for the Lake Forest women. Senior Yaneli Guajardo, who was fourth in the 1500m run on Friday, claimed third place in Saturday's two-lap race with a season-best time of 2:21.22. It was her 10th career All-MWC performance. Guajardo was followed closely by classmate Audrey Paglia, who finished fourth in 2:22.83, while Tianna Beilke, another senior, turned in the best time of her career at 2:47.03.

The first points of the meet for the Forester men came in the 5000m run, where junior Christian Reyes was sixth in 15:53.06 a day after competing in the 10,000m run.

Lake Forest's men and women each added two points with fifth-place finishes in the 4x400m relay, the final event of the weekend.

In addition to Gniady, Guajardo, Paglia, and Beilke, fellow Forester seniors Grace Atia, Nathaniel Bodnar, Brandon Johnson, Anna Mollnhuber, and Logan Schmidt will walk across the stage at graduation on Tuesday.
