The 2023-24 season will be the 11th as a member of the Forester coaching staff for Amy Finn at her alma mater. She served as an assistant from 2012-16 and, after a year away from the program, returned in 2017. She was promoted to associate head coach in 2021.

In addition to on-deck coaching, Finn shares recruiting coordinator duties, oversees the program's alumni relations and social media, and works specifically with the team's distance swimmers.

Finn helped lead the Forester women to a runner-up finish and the men to third place at the 2023 Midwest Conference Championships. The women claimed the conference title in 2020 and the men captured back-to-back championships in 2014 and 2015. The men's and women's teams have now combined to place first or second in the league 15 times in Finn's nine full seasons on staff.

Individual swimmers and divers have combined to win 121 events at the MWC Championships, incuding 11 in 2023, and the Forester men and women have posted a combined 68-51 dual meet record during her time on staff.

School records have been broken 69 times during Finn's tenure and the vast majority of entries on the program's top five lists in the distance events were posted under her watch.

Finn competed for Lake Forest for three seasons and captained the 2011-12 women's team to the program's first MWC championship in 14 years. She was part of four conference championship relay teams during her career and helped set a school and conference record in the 800-freestyle relay at the 2011 MWC Championships.

Finn received the team's Most Improved Performer award as a sophomore, earned Academic All-MWC honors her junior and senior seasons, and was Lake Forest's nominee in the 2012 NCAA Woman of the Year program.

After graduating from Lake Forest with a bachelor's degree in English, Finn went on to earn her master's in writing and publishing from DePaul University, where she was a member of the Sigma Tau Delta International English Honor Society.

In addition to her role as assistant swimming and diving coach, Finn also serves as a sports information assistant in the Athletic Department.
