Swimming and diving junior Violet Anderson was named the Women's Forester Athlete of the Week on Tuesday for her performance at the Midwest Conference Championship over the weekend.
Anderson successfully defended her individual conference titles in the 200-Individual Medley and 100- and 200-Butterfly.
She also contributed to the winning 200-Freestyle Relay and the second place 400-Freestyle and 200- and 400-Medley Relays. The 200-Medley Relay broke the school record. Additionally, the times posted for the 200-Freestyle and 400-Medley Relays rank second in team history, and the 400-Freestyle Relay ranks fifth overall.
The Forester athletes of the week are voted for by the athletic department on Tuesdays.
