Foresters Fall to Green Knights

Lake Forest swimming and diving traveled to De Pere, Wisconsin to compete against St. Norbert College on Saturday. Both the women's and men's teams fell to the Green Knights.

Senior Alec Pittman finished first in the 1000 and went on to win the 500-freestyle later in the meet. His time of 4:54.18 set a new pool record.

Sophomore Ally McCarthy won the same two events as her teammate Pittman. She and teammate Ella Burns finished 1, 2 in the 1000 and 500-freestyle. McCarthy also set a pool record; in the 1000, she was able to lower mark to 11:21.51.

Senior Kerry Mullen picked up another win for the women in the 50-freestyle, and junior Violet Anderson won the very next event—the 200-IM.

The women's team wrapped up the meet with a first-place finish in the 200-freestyle relay. Mullen and Anderson were joined by seniors Sarah Burchart and Kylie Morgan to combine for the winning time.

The Foresters compete next in the Midwest Conference Championships in Grinnell, Iowa beginning on Friday, February 18.
